Our mission is to be preferred by successful students with the education and training provided at the undergraduate level, have solid knowledge of Turkish language and literature, be beneficial to science, the state and society, constantly renew themselves in an environment where technology is rapidly developing, have ethical responsibility and be creative, entrepreneurial, inquisitive, to train Turcologists who are prone to collaborative work and sensitive to the environment. Our mission is also to be a department that produces solutions to problems related to Turkish language and literature through basic and applied research, contributes to the development and dissemination of science and technology and improving the quality of life in our country by continuing research activities at national and international levels, aims to protect the Turkish language and accurately transmit it to future generations.
Our vision is to train scientists who are modernly equipped, open-minded, open to innovations, able to open new horizons in their field, and sought after in Turkey and in the world at all scales.
